Wedding Planning: Om Diva

This place always brings a smile to my face. Happy staff, colourful shop, great music and if you’re there on the right day – a glass of bubbly. Om Diva is run by Irish design lovers, also known as the Divas (love it).

Starting in the basement is the vintage area which is sourced from around the world. So wearable and so cute. The personal style of the Divas really comes through in the shop. I particularly love the multi colour beaded hangers. This would be great for a unique wedding guest outfit that you would definitely not bump into someone wearing the same thing.

Up to the ground floor offering both  vintage and Irish designed jewellery and accessories. I’m like a kid in a candy store with the variety of shapes, colours and sparkles. The staff have such great style that they can help you style an outfit.

They also offer vouchers if you’re not sure what to get but know they’ll like the shop. The prices won’t break the bank either, which is a great bonus.

Let’s also take a moment to appreciate the window displays. I always walk by on my way home to see their latest creation.

The next floor up is a showcase of emerging and cutting edge Irish design called Atelier 27. Be the first to wear these designs and show off to our friends. Some of the designers work in their studios above the shop so it feels like a real creative hub.

Looking for something different with the girls, maybe searching for hen party ideas? How about the Om Diva Sip and Stitch Academy? “Workshop runs from 12-4.30 and includes tea/coffee and pastries in the morning and a glass of chilled bubbly to celebrate your fabulous new skill.” Booking is €65, and call them on 01 679 1211 to secure your place.

And finally, I will leave you with some of my favourite looks from the stylish Divas hemselves.
