I have a few boxes at home of random fabrics collected over time. Leftovers, hand-me-downs and some materials bought in the hope of finding a use for them. I’ve decided to work through the boxes and use or lose the fabric. First pick was the neon printed jersey.
Because they have different backround colours, and I don’t want a white front and grey back, I spliced them into stripes whilst matching up the prints.
I wouldn’t know until I drafted the pattern whether I could make sleeves. I had just about enough for the body so a short sleeve sweatshirt it was. I had some grey jersey for trims to finish it off.
If you are going to have to layer up in this unusually cold Spring, it might as well be bright.
